Finally in my new place and putting a few minutes of thought on just how I am going to manage to keep trout from escaping the beaver pond that is on my property and soon to be used for micro-hydro generation. The big trick is making it difficult for beavers to block my outflow pipes and inlet creek but at the same time making it just as difficult for the trout to get out.

Anyone figure out a solution to living with beavers and still being successful in not just 'wasting' trout fingerlings on 'other' parts of the watershed?
