I have recently inherited some land that has two small ponds on them. My grandfather had told me in the past that it was stocked years ago but because of it's location it has rarely been fished. I took my small family out to it last year and within just a few hours we had caught and released 12 bass measuring from 9"-16 1/2". I have been back several times with the same results. They seem rather easy to catch, but they are all that size. The pond only has about one acre of surface size. I am wondering if this is the largest that the bass will get because of the size of the pond.
