We bought one for the shop that I work at when they first came out. We are a large commercial shop and have many different guys using the saw. We tripped it all the time by cutting laminate (Formica) that had an aluminum face, we also used to cut cedar shingles for shims and if the moisture content was too high it would trip as well. They fixed those problems I'm told but we sold/donated ours to the school system. They are very nice saws and not a lot more than Delta or Powermatic considering that any one of them will last a lifetime. I plan to buy one for my home shop. I believe that they are working on a band saw as well. Check out these photos of "saves" http://www.sawstop.com/finger_saves.php
