Yeah I have a cousin that brought one of these saws a couple of months ago. It is simply amazing. It does cost a pretty got bit for some kind of replacement switch or fuse that you have to replace everytime it trips. I want to say it cost a couple of hundred bucks everytime you trip it.

Obviously no one wants to be shelling out 60 bucks, but 60 bucks seems a pretty cheap price to keep a finger.

Ask two people I know, one on a steel bandsaw and one on a router that were trying to make more than 60.00 bucks. I have all my digits, but came close a few times in Milling Machines. Doc. was really cool, He put my right index finger back together, and it only took like NEVER for the nail to smooth out. At least I have feeling in it when it get's cold out, and it works to eradicate certain buildups  �

We bought one for the shop that I work at when they first came out. We are a large commercial shop and have many different guys using the saw. We tripped it all the time by cutting laminate (Formica) that had an aluminum face, we also used to cut cedar shingles for shims and if the moisture content was too high it would trip as well. They fixed those problems I'm told but we sold/donated ours to the school system. They are very nice saws and not a lot more than Delta or Powermatic considering that any one of them will last a lifetime. I plan to buy one for my home shop. They are really impressive and very well built. An aluminum block is slammed into the blade when it trips, at least on the one I tried out. You have to buy a new blade when they trip unles you are lucky or know someone who can retip it.
