Hi,
I am trying to figure out what type of aeration will be best for my pond. I will be digging a 1/2 acre pond and I am going back and forth on the aeration options.
The pond will be about 8ft deep, and I plan to stock it with bass, bream, and catfish. I want to have the sound of water hitting the pond to drown out the noise around me, but am wondering if a fountain will be enough aeration for my pond. Or do I need a diffuser type of aeration as well.
Any info on this will be very much apreciated. Thanks

Hello, I'm no expert but if the sound of water is what you want I would start off with a fountain. Then add aeration if it's needed later.

You can get a fountain that draws water from deeper water with a vertical extension tube below the fountain. Let me know if you would like some specs and pricing via PM.
