In lieu of this, I will pick the Saints in an upset. 37-31. I had one of the scores right and the final outcome correct. Pretty good game and I really think the Freeney injury played a big factor since he was a non-factor after the half.

I still think the Saints kicker should have been MVP. They always pick the QB...

Dudley, can I get a witness?
Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:" "She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

I still think the Saints kicker should have been MVP. They always pick the QB... I was a kicker in HS, QB gets all the glory, and nobody remembers the winning points by the Kicker. Been there!

I was a QB and they get all the busted ribs, twisted legs. fluid on the elbow, etc. BUT, I know what you mean. 3 40+ yarders and a perfectly placed onside kick should have done it for him.

The "skilled" positions get all of the attention. But without all those big ugly suckers on the line and in the trenches, nothing happens. When the line breaks down, skill doesn't count for a whole lot. Reference the Cowboys and the Packers in this years playoffs. Romo never stood a chance.
Emmit Smith has disappointed me. When interviewed, he has always talked about how lucky he was to have been blessed with talent and avoided injuries. I've never heard him talk about the lines he played behind or how Daryl Johnson cleared the holes that made his career possible.
I was a Linebacker who often didn't have enough sense to get out of the way when the freight train hit.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
Without a sense of urgency, Nothing ever gets done.
Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley Rancher and Farmer Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP Grandpa

Actually, that was a different kicker. Hartley's their FG kicker while Morstead handles kickoff duties.

I am eating my words. I was wrong. The Saints did beat the Colts. Congratulations to them. Glad I am not a betting man, other then the stock market.

Dwight you don't have to eat crow - just toss it in the pond (in your case through a hole in the ice) and let the pike have at it.
