That's one of the reasons why I like the snowthrower - it gets the snow further away from the areas that need cleaning. Plus I can set it an inch or so above the surface and it won't pick up the limestone in the driveway and distribute it in the yard, which has a good chance then of getting re-distributed in the spring by the lawnmower.
