Hy Ya'll thanks for the replys. I don't have a picture at this point. I just wasn't sure if there was a problem using regualr shiners instead of Golden ones? I think the only difference is the regualr shiners are smaller? When I buy some more I will take a picture of one. I can get them for about 8 bucks a pound from them. Is that high? Sounds a little high to me but they are right around the corner. And they are just a small bait shop. The guy looked at me like I was nuts when I told him i wanted Golden Shiners? He said well we have small, medium and large shiners not sure about the golden part!
