I think a trophy should be defined each individual, by what you think it is. I consider a trophy something that is done once or twice in a lifetime. Maybe this will help. I just took my father in law to one of my Plantation's. They have some huge bass and he caught one 9 lbs. 13 ozs. It is the biggest in his life and I have never caught one that big. We would agree it is a trophy. However the week before I had in a Sam Taylor a man well known in GA (caught 10 over 14 lbs.). He would have considered it a nice quality fish but not a trophy.

I think a 10.5 inch bluegill is a great fish and I have only shocked up a few that size. However, it seems you may just be on your way to producing some real trophy bluegill in the future. Nice growth rates.
