I'm thinking about buying a Boga-grip tool to make it easier to handle and weigh my bass. As anyone here used one? Is it as accurate as they claim? The 15# model is supposedly accurate w/in 1/4 pound. They ain't cheap, but appear to be pretty sturdy. Dave,
I have used the Boga for several years for catch, weigh, and release for smallmouth and striped bass. They are well machined from stainless steel - a quality product.
As you mentioned they are accurate within � pound - I am told that they are certifiable by IGFA.
A bit pricy, but valuable if you fish big water for toothy critters.
I now use them for pond work.
