That is one beautiful replica, I wonder if the guns work.
Yeah I was wondering that too AP. If they did they'd be great on jet skis on a public lake. Can you imagine what fun that would be! :grin
Hey, let's not pick on the jet ski's, I use to have 2, they're great fun, It's not the ski's, just like snowmobiling some drivers are idiots and give everyone else a bad name.
Cecil you ought to give one a try, you might be bringing it home.
1.) I'm sure there are people that are responsible with them but I haven't seen one yet. I can't count how many times I've had them zip over my lines within 10 feet of the boat, or circle me when they have the whole frigging lake to bounce around on. We have an ever increasing war on fisherman here on some of our public lakes. Some of the lake people think they own the lake and you would be amazed at what they will do to discourage fisherman. On he other hand I've seen anglers trash the lakes which gives the rest of them a bad name.
I know one lake where the lake residents rope in bluegill spawning ares with "No fishing Swimming Area" signs. On the same lake there is a water ski course right across the mouth of an opening that feeds into a culvert to another lake. Imagine that coming out of the culvert and a boat is bearing down on you.
Right now we have a judge who has decided she doesn't want ice fisherman parking on the public road in from of her house she just bought. Never mind it's publc and has been used for years before she got there. She's had signs put up and has state troopers writing tickets even though in reality what she is doing is illegal.
2.) I doubt I could afford one.
On a sad note, but you have to ask how someone that was smart enough to get through medical could do something so dumb... we had doctor on a local lake hook up a jumper cable to jetski in the water when it wouldn't start. Of course he electrocuted himself.
