If I was raising green carp (which I'm not anymore) I would pick the females because they reach larger trophy size (or at least this is the general consensus.) However if one is using them to control smaller fish perhaps the males would be a better choice?

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
