deerstalker Fingerling D Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 7 Georgia	I have about thirty geese and ten ducks that visit my lakes every day.If I put out a feeder, won't I just be feeding the birds and not the fish? You could be out there when the feeder goes off with a fishing rod, 15#-20# test and a heavy casting lure. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color. Without a sense of urgency, Nothing ever gets done. There are 3 ducks on my lake that grew so fat this summer that they could not fly away. I'm not talking just a bit pudgy, I'm talking morbidly obese! You definitely will need to get creative with your feeding program, but dont think your alone with this slight dilemma and dont keep you fish hungry because the ducks might eat a few pellets.
