I guess I have some questions to ask the local natural resorces dept about what and where to get stock.

One think kind of related, my browns would not bite this year hrdly at all and I couldn understand why until a frien of mine which is an avid fisherman came to try his luck and after about 45 minutes he called me over and said "thats why they arnt biting" and pointed to a band about two feet wide of pollywogs or baby frogs that rimmed the entire 1100' perimeter of the pond.

As the pond matures the ecosystem seems to be taking hold. I would think that maybe there is lots of food to be had and maybe the salmon might like frog legs?
