adirondack pond Ambassador Lunker A Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 3,135 big moose ny	Kokanee salmon feed on plankton and insects in the wild, but they feed them pellets in the hatcheries so I guess they would do fine. It would be an interesting experiment to see how well they grow compared to trout.
