One of my friends, who has an excavating business, also has a really big firewood "processor." He gets truckloads of large 30-40-foot logs from land that they clear for roads, building sites, etc. The processor cuts, splits, and loads a dumptruck with a big conveyor. All the pieces are nearly exactly the same length. They can do about 30 cords a day.
