Here are my two cents if it were me in your predicament:
I wouldnt cover the gorilla wrap with anything. Also dont let the time frame for gorilla wrap expiration dictate what siding you want to install. If you want to install any type of siding during the winter, I recommend wearing a coat and some gloves, the siding and gorilla wrap will be fine.
