\:D No secret code, it went down like this. I put the "Five" and then the "Zero" on the cake. With just those two candles on the cake it looked lopsided. So I added the two directly opposite the "50". Now it looked more balanced but the sides then looked barren. So I added the side candles to make the cake ascetically appealing. As it turns out adding candles to a birthday cake is much more difficult than one would imagine.
