I got her a cake...
Yes that is a photo of the actual cake, we had a great lunch and a relaxing day. (Which is what Ricki requested that we do.)
The highlight of the day was that one of Ricki's sisters (the youngest) sent Ricki a square pillow that was partially made from the fabric of a shirt that her dad liked to ware. She also enclosed a photo of Ricki standing next to her dad while he was wearing the shirt. It was an incredibly touching and thoughtful present.
