Mike, sounds like a great plan and I'm anxious to see the finished results. I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiments of the others here - what a tremendous project you've undertaken!

Wish I could help you on the coloration issue, but I am too new at pond ownership to really grasp the reasons behind that sort of stuff just yet. I'll be very interested to hear the experts' take on it.
