I never see a Horned Toad anymore either. Used to love to catch them when I was kid. No shortage of noisy frogs at the pond. Those "Frogs" over in Ft. Worth are doing pretty good this season. Maybe the serious droughts you've had in the last decade have something to do with their disappearance?
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
