If you are talking about the leader material go with the berkeley 100% fluorocarbon, if you are talking about the braided lines (for the main line) go with the powerpro. the packages of braided line should have a sticker that states what #test of mono would be the equivalent. ie. 8# test powerpro may be the same diameter as 4 or 6# test mono (maybe less)
I am a very big fan of using braided lines with a fluorocarbon leader, I am convinced this is a big reason I lost so few fish this year after initial hookset. Less stretch in the main line means more solid hooksets and the fluorcarbon leader is even less visible than monofilament is. Don't worry about distance nearly as much as accuracy with your casts, it's a lot like golf in that sense. lure placement on your cast can be very important, being able to launch your bait farther than the next guy, not so much.
