I wish $$ could fix this situation but he needs a place to go and donations will not convince the shelter not to put him down. His time is up and the shelter manager has been hiding him for weeks and playing musical doggies. He is out of time.
You never know, who you know, knows. How about you fellows send a link to this post to a couple of dog loving friends and ask them to forward it to anyone they know who might help. It's a long shot but I have even found homes for dogs in Alabama in Canada through networking on the internet.
I've posted him here,on a local forum and on my facebook and I've sent out about 60 emails. I've got a lead on a lab rescue group in NC that is senior friendly.
He has a week. Surely someone will step up from somewhere.
I'll keep you updated on his status. Sorry to dump this on you but I know there is a strong dog loving community here and I'm desperate to help this noble boy.
