Well to day, I drove my daughter to woork, and on my way back I dropped in, on a friend, 5 min. up the road, of my house.
Most people around here, are a bit grumpie, about the rain.
But we are thriled, some of us. The Sea-trout, or silverhead is rushing, up the creeks, like crayse.
As of this morning, we have spent most off the day, crawling the creeks.
Ever since, I can reemember. It gives me, the same thrill, 40 years stil a thril.
Wath a rush, were did the day go?
I think the biggest spotted to day, was around 5-6 kilo.

Here is where we are, with fairly pinpoint forcast on location.

Paul,

Are the Seatrout a form of brown trout (Salmo trutta)?

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Paul,

We'd love to see some photos. I've spend midsummer's eve (Sankthansaften??) fishing the waters in downtown Stockholm, sailed the fjords of Sweden, and sailed the waters between Stockholm and Helsinki, but I've never been on your side of the border -- yet. I hope to make it there one day. Your part of the world is absolutely beautiful.

Ken

Yes it's the same.
Those that choose to, turn to the sea grow faster and become bigger.

Paul I would love to see photos too. Two years ago while in Berlin we took a day trip to a small fishing village called Werder. They had huge catfish and were smoking them. It was neat to get to see how others in the world fish. You don't usually think of fish when you think of German food but it was delicious.

Thanks for sharing.

If it's not fit for you to eat, what makes you think it's good for your dog?

Have to correct my self a bit, hwat I stated above is tru hovewer they reach a limit of growth in the sea at about
10-12 kilos (20-24 pound)
In a inland lake they can reach 20 kilos (40 pound)

Tried to capture some pictures. impossible with all the water that are in the creeks now.
I'll try again when the water level and curent i the steams deacreases.
