While researching some Koi pond websites looking for tips on recirculating aquaculture I found several mentions of peroxide for algae control and oxygen boost. The recommended amount to add varied greatly though. I would think if it is strong enough to kill algae it is too strong for fish. It does seem like a cheap no brainer to add to transport water if it works.
