Water is from rain runoff. The yard slopes from the house, about 200-300 feet. The trees have overgrown, they are about 3-4 inches in diameter. They weren't there last time I fished it, 25 years ago. My goal is to raise the water level back to original, 10-12 feet. Mud can be placed on the other side of the dam, a continued downslope. I stood in the pond, literally where the water level was, tall grass was around my feet.
It was a great fishing pond and I want to get it back to that.
