Welcome to the forum WahooBob. We have some committed forum members here (and some that need to be committed) but I've got to tell you that you are the first pond meister that I've ever seen that guards his pond with a shotgun (not that there's anything wrong with that). Welcome aboard, we're glad you found us. Great first post.

Yeah! Welcome to Pond Boss!

What's the total size?

Bob, it's against the law to kill herons of other long billed birds. I'm sure you just shoot in the air to scare them away. I guess some might die from fright but I wouldn't want to face a Federal Judge about it.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Depending on the availability of the Gams (and 5 lbs FHM), the 3" CNBG & RES could be in jeopardy from 10"-12" LMB.

Oh the old "oops I spilled your beer and now have to drink it off the ground trick" (commonly used by dogs and fraternities).

1)Spilling beer is called alcohol abuse.Maybe your dog should seek professional help.
2)I got caught with beer in an icechest once(that can be proven). \:\)

I don't think it would be a bad idea providing you can 100% positively identify that they are all males.
