Ok so here is a pic of my pond from the picnic area after 7 inches of rain and colder temps and no sun for like 7 days now. All my dead weeds and algea are going bye, bye THANK GOD!! I can actually fish in my pond again. Hey JHAP I caught 12 GSF the other day and a few were around 9 to 10 inches. The bass are starting to bite again as well with the cooler temps and nice cool rain water. David D. I did as you said and caught 4 bass and culled everyone of them! I know its not really the right time of year but I had a chance to do it so I put 200 CNBG in today and 50 RES. They weren't as big as I would have liked but I hope most of them will survive.

Welcome back to full pool, RC. It really does look like a great place to shrug off the rest of the world.

Hey Brettski,

Thanks it really is. I spent the whole day up there today and I just still can't believe it's mine!!! It's only 1 acre with 12 acres of land but I love it! A lot of work but work that is enjoyable doing! I can't wait till the leaves start to change it's going to look awesome. I won't want to come back home!

Beautiful setting and pond. 12 acres is 11 acres more than a man needs to lose himself. Very cool - congrats on being full pool.

Your verbal description didn't do it justice. Pretty place.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
