Has anyone in warm climates thought of trying to pull off something like this?

Maybe if you went with Blue Tilapia for the colder temp tolerance. (those are the right ones right rainman?)

Maybe if you made the pond real shallow to encourage lots of plant and algea growth to keep the tilapia fed, and then obviously the peacocks would take care of the tilapia. Plus tilapia are good eating if you need to cull alot.

Now I imagine that it would take a warm climate. I'm sure florida could handle it, but I wonder if it could be pulled off in southern California.

Thoughts?
