Catmando you seem nice enough...you are welcome to spend the night at our little 2 bedromm one bath house in Princeton, KY if you want to drive a little farther. Nothing fancy but a bed and shower and free stay. I will tell you where key is hidden.
Greg, Thanks for the generous offer. I think we're going to try and push as far as we can on the first day. Last time, we made it to Lexington, but we'd like to really make it as far as Louisville if we can. That would get us to Big Cedar Lodge a little earlier on Thursday. Regards, Ken

GF Lake Chair and I are planning on leaving around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday and driving till just before dark, getting a room and heading out early enough to arrive between noon and 3;00 pm Thursday. She is not an early riser like me, so we will just go with the flow. Will it be hot there?

Shouldn't be to hot. I guessing if the weather is stable low's in the upper 50's and highs near 80 or so.

Leaving Tuesday morning 7ish with a stop off at BassPro in Springfield then arriving in the afternoon. It has been about 25 years since my last visit there so I wanted to take advantage of this trip.

I'm planning on driving my new truck down Wednesday and the wife and babysitters will arive about 8pm Thurday night if any one needs them (babysitters that is).
I'd stay at my property close by, but the reason I'll already be there Wednesday is because a deputy arranged a 9am meeting with the judge the 16th for visiting my property in July. I don't want to take the chance that another visit would result in the county requesting I stay in their accomodations!!!!

Im coming about noonish wednesday and staying right next to grimes in a cabin. I have made arrangements to be prefishing the tournament with my partner phil rasy and our guide from 2pm wed all the way until noon thursday- that gives me just under 24 hrs to learn the contours of the lake and the early fall bass fishing pattern before the big day...........just kidding.
I think me and the fam are going to hit up branson wed before the conference sucks me in and its go time sunday.
