The pond is 3/4 of an acre and an adverage of 10 feet deep. It is spring fed. The water is very warm for any pond I have felt. About 75 degrees. It is about 70 degrees up here on the mountain. Should an air systom be instaled. The problem is that our neighbor. He owns the land the pond is on. Does not want to do anyting unatural. He sais that if you put enough fish in it the fish will stir the water up and create enough oxegon in the pond. I see no logic in that. Some info would be great

Fish oygenating their own water works well only if they are perpetual motion perch, not so well with actual fish that have to use oxygen in order to move.
(Proper) aeration is not necessary for a pond in order to have fish and good fishing, but it is one of the enhancements that really helps out both the pond and the fish, by reducing organic sediments and the risk of fish kills.
Heck, is this pond naturally occurring and stocked only by Mother Nature? If not, he's already made it "unnatural".
