Whats the temp. that evaporation stops. I know it never stops but slows really really down. All sumer I lost about 18"-20". Hopefully my pond still doesn't leak.

I have read in the summer you can loose as much as 1/4 inch of surface water a day! It gets pretty hot here though. I have easily lost 20 inches as a matter of fact I am about at that point right now still. Suppose to get some more rain this Friday and Saturday so hopfully that will help.

IIRC, when humidity is very high and the water is slightly warmer or the least evap occurs when two moist air masses with a wide temp differential collide directly over your BOW and the evaporation process reverses dramatically. Like this
