Age, maintenance, parts, weight, over all size, ease of entering/exiting the cab, blah, blah. Them thar are a few of de tangs that convinced me to keep my Rangers vs. selling one and buying a mini truck.
As far as a cab goes, you can buy a removable Roof, Windshield, Doors etc. on e-bay for half of what dealers sell them for.
