Another taxidermist I know is a real card. He got a call from one of those people that thought he was a taxi service. He told her he'd be right there and hung up. Of course he had no intention of showing up as he was not a taxi service. When he hung up his wife, who was sitting nearby said, "That was mean!" Now that poor woman is going to wait and never be picked up." He replied, "I don't care!" I'm sick and tired of these stupid people!" The phone rang again. It was the same lady. She asked if he could pick her up the next day at the same time too. He said sure thing and hung up.
I do know a taxidermist that got a call from a woman going into labor in the wee hours of the morning. She too thought he was a taxi service. But he picked her up and took her to the hospital. Bob is a great guy.
The former taxidermist (the one that is a real card) also got a call from a teenager that went something like this: "Hey dude what would ya charge to mount ma mom?" The taxidermist replied with, "How old are you son?" "I'm 19 years old man." "Well son I already mounted your mom about 18 years and 3 months ago." The taxidermist said the phone went silent followed by a click.
