I know all too well about heart conditions. My dad started having heart trouble when he was 39. My grandfather (his dad) is doing very well, and he has had a pacemaker for over 10 years.

You did the right thing by addressing the situation immediately. I'm confident that Ricki is in good hands and will be just fine.
