Eric,
I believe you are going to need supplemental water from another source. I don't see how it will ever work.
Example from my area (arid):
- 15 inches annual precipitation.
- 48 inches annual evaporation.
- 30 gpm perennial stream flow considered minimun for succesful pond. (or) 1500 acres of clay or silty soil pastureland for watershed runoff.
