I attended a talk from Dr. Ken Wagner, Cirtified Lake Manager and past North American Lake Management Society (NALMS) President where he specifically is injecting Ferrus Chloride in lakes with aeration to bond the phosphates with the iron and precipitate them to the bottom redenring these nutrients unavalilable for algae to use as a food source.
