Matt

Let me know if this works for you guys, I am a member so it goes right to it but I dont know about others viewing the site. If it does work check out the photos. good stuff in there!

Matt & Zach

What a moment that must have been. I'm looking at the pictures at the link you provided and I am absolutely humbled at the amount of joy this boy gets out of life in spite of his condition. Kudos to you Matt and you can expect a neighborhood of postcards coming your way.
Yes it was a great day for him, And that's the thing about Matt, Going through all this and he always manages to find a way to have a smile and is more concerned about the people surrounding him that are worried and upset.

Ok heres what we know so far! They went in to have a look at the tumor, it has grown from a shrunk size of a watermelon seed to the size of a walnut. They were going in to see if they could close off any blood vessels feeding the tumor before the surgery and they couldnt find any so I dont know if thats a good thing or not. Thank you guys for all your support on the forums and in private. Keep the prayers strong!

They still don't have a room in the hospital I guess? I don't get much info other then his uncle calling me or me calling him but I don't want to pester them either, But his surgery is in the morning at 7:30 and somehow it is 2 day surgery long day I guess tomorrow then again on Friday after Matt has had some rest?
Doctor warned again that it is risky and to be prepared for the worst and hope for the best. Man this stinks!

Thanks for listening

Just now said a prayer and will say some more. Tell Matt that I'm believing for a full recovery and that he has an open invitation to fish the ponds I work with anytime.

Alright! So far so good! The surgery today was to remove the bone and skull that were in the way so that the tumor could be removed tomorrow. He is sedated I would assume a drug induced coma and the operation to remove the coma will start again in the morning. I hope you guys don't mind all the chit chat but it does help me deal with it a little better, seems if I say it out loud it is a little easier to think about whats going on.
Man this has got to be a Huge emotional roller coaster ride for Matt's parents. I will keep you posted

Bob

Well after 13 hours of surgery they are finally putting Matt back together, the doctor says he got all the nerves re attached and that he was able to remove almost all of the tumor, the almost part bothers me a bit, They wont know anything until tomorrow when they do a mri, Good thing is he made it through without complications that we know of. I guess we will find out some more tomorrow. Thanks to who ever sent cards down they said they were receiving cards in reference to me so I know it was from the pondboss or the vintage-mustang family.

Thank you guys I will keep you updated when I hear something
