A hog trap is intended to catch wild hogs. There are various kinds. Some have a guillotine type door, others a spring loaded door and then there are some made of cattle panels or hog panels with TPost support. I suppose they all work but I can't get them to come into any of them. They come and go on my place but are just about 100% nocturnal. I'm not about to stay awake all night so I don't bother hunting them. I've just not found them to be much of a problem.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
