Great pictures. I was impressed with the sub floor and your use of brackets. Too often people skip this and in a few years, it's moving and the entire building has shifted.

Then you went two stories and created a full sized house....

There are limits to what you can load those exterior piers. Then the taller they are, the more racking you will have. From the pictures, it's hard to tell, but were the perimiter beams big enough for the load of the house?

Since it's a cabin and not a main residence, I can see where it might not be that big of a deal, but you still spent allot of money on it, and will continue to put more money into it. I would brace those posts with either diagnal bracing or sheething. Having the exterior sheething come down as far as possible will help, but there's no telling for sure from the pictures what was done.

Does it snow there?
