I don't think you should go shallower, Mark; if I'm putting a feeder in the water, I seldom put it in less than 5' of water. And if that spot is where you've caught bluegill the most, that's the spot to have it.
What do you think about the idea of putting some feed-trained bluegill in there? I think that might be your answer.
