I bought a ranch for my family and my ex-business partner was able to "appropriate" the property. My daughters and I miss it horribly.

I posted some pics here...I wish I could access the property I would have a big pondboss party out there.

http://s716.photobucket.com/albums/ww163/kcbekemson/Humble%20Lake/?albumview=slideshow

The property was started as a fishing/hunting club 75 years ago and the 25 acre lake has never been dry. Stocked originally with Florida LMB, Crappie, and some form of Cats...the legend goes of 35 LB cats being hauled out before I owned the property.

It started to have a lilypad problem which I was addressing.

I miss the fishing... \:\)

Neat looking place. I bet you do miss it.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

That is nice!! Sorry to hear that. I can't believe he won't let you bring the kids their to fish at least. Look around where you are at maybe you can at least find a DNR fishing area/pond and take your kids. I know it won't be the same but maybe better than nothing.

DogLoyalty, sorry to hear about your loss. It's a beautiful looking place. I think you mentioned you problem with your ex partner on another thread. If you want to go into detail and vent, we're here for you. I had a similar problem (with similar results) with an ex business partner, and it's hard to stop thinking about it. Best of luck to you and your family.

Pond Withdrawl!! Now that I have my own pond I would say YES!!! I don't know what I would do without one now. Mine is only 1 acre but it's mine to do with what I please and have fun with it. I too would miss that very much if I had to give it up now. Hope things work out for ya!!

At the risk of sounding like a baby. It does seem to help a bit to vent.

Thanks for all the support! \:\)
