Im totally new to the pond thing , just starting to investigate if its possible to have a small pond on our family farm.
But I do have this soil stuff, and from what Ive read it doesn't seem promising...

Any Input of any kind would be nice.

Spokane County, Washington

Map Unit Setting

* Mean annual precipitation: 20 inches
* Mean annual air temperature: 46 degrees F
* Frost-free period: 100 to 125 days

Map Unit Composition

* Bernhill and similar soils: 100 percent

Description of Bernhill
Setting

* Landform: Hills
* Landform position (two-dimensional): Backslope, footslope, toeslope
* Landform position (three-dimensional): Side slope, base slope
* Parent material: Glacial till mixed with a component of loess and volcanic ash

Properties and qualities

* Slope: 0 to 20 percent
* Depth to restrictive feature: 20 to 40 inches to lithic bedrock
* Drainage class: Well drained
* Capacity of the most limiting layer to transmit water (Ksat): Moderately high to high (0.57 to 1.98 in/hr)
* Depth to water table: More than 80 inches
* Frequency of flooding: None
* Frequency of ponding: None
* Available water capacity: Low (about 4.8 inches)

Interpretive groups

* Land capability (nonirrigated): 3e

Typical profile

* 0 to 6 inches: Silt loam
* 6 to 16 inches: Gravelly loam
* 16 to 28 inches: Gravelly loam
* 28 to 32 inches: Unweathered bedrock

Personal Notes : The site im looking at is the low point between several unused fields, there's a lot of tress and vegetation in that area that stays greener , also stories from my dad said that there was a small pond there in the spring time when he was a kid...

I guess I would be looking at an excavated pond and the well fill option.

Welcome to the forum MaxExp82... You've found the right place to get your questions answered!

Hang tight, someone who knows dirt and pond building will be along to help you out... But if it is only 32" to bedrock, it don't sound good to me but I know beans when it comes to soils and pond building.

Welcome abord you are going to love this place.

Are there any other ponds near you?
That will tell you just as much as the soil tests.

What size do you want to build.

There is 2 Man Made ponds and 1 Natural Pond within a mile.

The area im looking at making it probably has a bedrock depth of 10-12 feet.

My plan is for a 1/2 acre pond..

Sounds a lot more plausible... Otto knows his dirt, so take his advice.

Check out the Pond Boss library. Consider buying 'Perfect Pond, Want One?' It will really help you along the way and will be the best money you can spend on your endeavor...
