I defer to Bill and the experts on how to raise bullheads, but I agree that stocking them may not be the best option. They reproduce too fast and are too aggressive in our pond, especially around the feed. With their relatively small size but large numbers, they seem to me to be a waste of biomass.

If there are plenty of 1-2 lb. bullheads in a nearby creek, I suppose you could enjoy catching them from there and eating them at your convenience instead of stocking them in your pond.
