Dave, there have been many wonderful and well stated thoughts spoken above about Al. It's obvious that he was well liked and respected. I remember talking with him outside the Hotel in Arlington - we were talking about bamboo, and he wanted me to email him so he could supply more information. He was just that kind of guy, wasn't he? We sat at one of the smaller dinner tables together at the Convention last year, and had some interesting conversations about business etc, and his pride in you was unmistakable - as others have already said, he was so proud of you, as well he should be.
