Can someone let me know what is considered a wetland? The site I am considered already has a small pond on it...But there is more to a wetland than just drained water that drains in and creates a wet area right?
Is all wetland protected against building?

Thank ya, sir. I'm kinda an "all or nothing" guy. My cyber-scrapbook is evidence of a current "all" project. I now know and understand the passion that is shared by all on this forum. Welcome.

Justin,
As noted in the link Brettski posted, your regional NYSDEC office should have maps showing the state wetlands for your area.
