OK, my turn in the barrel.

I bought a zero turn 42" cut lawnmower. Neat! Then I hit one lousy little stump and thought I only busted a belt. So, I bought a $60.00 belt and installed it. No problem. So, I fired up the mower and it sounded terrible. That's when I discovered that I had also busted the spindle that holds one of the blades. It is pressed on and after about an hour of trying to "unpress" it, I gave up and hauled it to the shop. The part is $85.00 and labor is $60.00 per hour. They are running 4 weeks behind on fixing stuff. I also found out that shear pins are a thing of the past.

I'm getting "the look".

I told my child bride that I have figured out how to modify my overpriced ECHO weedeater to use bicycle chain instead of plastic string. That didn't get all that far.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
