Ok thanks to all the great advice provided by you fine folks, I've got the fluridone on the way. I also have some algicide and dye on hand for the bloom that I think will come after the watermeal gives up a little sunlight to the water below. My question is should I put the algicide and die in now or wait till after the fluridone has time to do its thing ? The pond was about two acres before it was drained down to about a 1/4 acre and allowed to grow up for the last 6+ years. I got the dozer to clean up the over growth and plugged it a month ago its now about a 1/2 acre, and its spring feed.

I should have stated that the algicide is cutrine-plus and the dye is aquashade. Will this stuff work with or against my Fluridone (white cap)that I'm using for the watermeal? I've read on this forum that fluridone doesn't like sunlight, is this true?

Wait on dye application you will not need cutrine until algae growth begins if iit does. BTW did you place the order I have been out of town but did not see in our order form?

Again thanks for the good info Greg. Now I am ashamed to say that no I didnt order from you. By the time I spoke with you I had allready been in contact with another company and ordered the fluridone from them. Please dont hold it against me. I can say any other stuff I need will come from you. I would rather deal with a Georgia boy any day. I'm new at this be patient with me.

Does the White cap have the same percentage of fluridone in it as Sonar does. Just curious

Oh Greg I didn't mean for it to sound like that, sorry. I am just glad to know that there is something beside Sonar that will work. Seems like when there is a monopoly on something the price climbs until a competitor comes into the picture and things level out a bit. That was a quick Google search and noted the first prices that I found. Good to know about your prices, honestly though I hope I don't have to buy it from you but considering the environment that surrounds my pond I wouldn't be surprised that I will need it down the road.

TG not worries I just wanted to "discretely mention" I have it for less as an fyi. However others on here sell it as well at good prices. I hope you do not get watermeal either. I would not wish watermeal on my worst enemy.
