At this point I would not recommend them based on all the information I have found and been given on this forum. I seined out many gizzard shad last fall that were too large for my predator fish. My pond is only a few years old and this has me a little worried. It is still too early to tell if the HSB I added in addition to the LMB I already had stocked are controlling them.
