I ruined countless cassettes when I would toss a magnetron(radar transmitting tube) into my truck to go to a ship. BIG time magnet.
Lost all highs and lows. Then I inadvertently tossed my wax player when cleaning out the garage. When they quit making 50 cent pieces, it wouldn't play my 78 blues records anyway. Just try to convert edison cylinders to mp3 files.
